Here are some notes made by the dancer to explain how the movement phrase
was created:
| I have taken three phrases from the poem:
patient suspended in your skeleton listen inside These were motivated into movement as follows: Patient for me means frustrating, hence stillness with fidgetting toes, rubbing my legs as a soother. Suspended in my own world with my eyes shut, I was in touch with the inside. As I open my eyes I perceive a clear new world, rising. Dream nothing is shown by hand supporting head, still suspended. Hand to ear as an easy listening symbol. Dani |
