Here are some notes made by the dancer to explain how the movement phrase was created:
 

After reading the submission we took Pythagoras's equation, A2+B2=C2 .  We selected words from the text for the movement content and used the theorum as the structure for the phrase.

Content:
A = listen
B = absorb
C = mind

Structure:
Video 1
Phrase A is performed, then phrase B is performed.  These are followed by the 'not equals' sign.
Video 2
Phrases A and B are performed in unison (i.e. squared).  Phrase C is performed as a combination of A and B phrases.
