We worked with the ideas sent in by Colleen and Steven since the last rehearsal,
making the dancers emerge from the mirror with relationships between them
that are based around personal 'secrets' as Steven suggested. Even
I do not know what those secrets are!! We created a few more movement
phrases for the 'secrets' - but the movement in the new phrases came almost
entirely from ealier phrases, so there is a sense of continuity.
Unfortunately Dee was involved in a motorbike accident at the weekend.
She hasn't broken anything, but she is on crutches for the moment.
As you can see below, Tara has joined her with a crutch for a mirroring
section in the piece!

The piece ends with the dancers performing a simple hand-gesture phrase
and gathering one behind the other on opposite sides of the mirror so that
they end up as the infinite reflection in the mirrors facing each other.

We will have one more rehearsal on Friday afternoon, to clean up some of
the transitions and sort out camera angles. We hope that as many
of the participants as possible will be able to join us for the sharing
via
iVisit on Friday (1pm New York time, 6pm UK time). For those
who cannot be at the sharing, video and images from it will be put up on
the site over the weekend.
